St. Mary’s School, Dwarka, takes pride in
introducing its new adventure- ‘Pickle and Chutney making Enterprise’. We are
all very pleased and excited to impart the skills of entrepreneurship to our
students by taking ‘Pickle/Chutney making enterprise’ as an example. We
selected these products as they are very popular among Indians and no Indian
meal is truly satisfying without a relish – a pickle or a chutney.
We are presently in the process of introducing the
concept of School Enterprise Challenge (Common Wealth) among the students of
class VI to XII ( from age group
11-17 years). The school has planned to take ‘School Enterprise Challenge’ as a
project for Commerce sections of classes XI and XII. The students of these
classes will be taken as the partners of the enterprise. This project will
provide them with the hands-on experience on various features of
entrepreneurship like –
Authority -------à
Responsibility ----------à Accountability
During the interactive session with the students of
commerce sections of class XI and XII, many of them exhibited their interest to
be partners of the enterprise.
Ms. Anjili
Sarah Mathew, the Academic Co ordinator of our school will be the Director of
the Enterprise.
The organizational structure will be finalized in
the next two or three days under the expert hands of our worthy teachers.
